Sonic the Hedgehog #279
Sonic the Hedgehog #279 from Archie Comics puts a wild spin on everyone's favorite blue speedster — the cover, penciled by Jamal Peppers and inked by Terry Austin, depicts a fearsome werehog form of Sonic lunging forward with enormous clawed hands, his green eyes fierce against a fiery, darkened backdrop. Surrounding him are several familiar animal companions, their expressions ranging from wary to wide-eyed, making for a striking contrast between Sonic's monstrous silhouette and his friends gathered behind him. "Face of the Enemy, Part Two: Friends in Deed" promises a story full of tension and heart from writer Aleah Baker and artist Evan Stanley.
