Shade, the Changing Man #46
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePart two of "A Season in Hell" arrives in this April 1994 DC/Vertigo entry, and Duncan Fegredo's cover makes an immediate impression: a wide-eyed man stares upward in what can only be described as stunned alarm as a cascade of vividly patterned poison-dart frogs — pink, orange, blue, green, and every spotted combination in between — tumbles and leaps across him, one perched directly on his forehead. Subtitled "Hopping Mad" and signed "Frogredo" by the cover artist himself, it's a wonderfully surreal piece that captures the unhinged spirit Peter Milligan and Glyn Dillon brought to this series throughout its run. If you've been following Shade's increasingly strange journey, this issue's cover alone promises the psychedelic weirdness you came for.
