Glyn Dillon
1971–
Glyn Dillon (born 1971) is a British artist and designer whose career spans comics, film, and costume work. He first gained notice in the late 1980s and early 1990s as a comics artist, contributing to titles such as *Crisis*, *A1*, and *Shade, the Changing Man*. His most celebrated comics work is the 2012 graphic novel *The Nao of Brown*, a deeply personal story exploring obsessive-compulsive disorder and Japanese pop culture, which he wrote and illustrated. In film, Dillon became a sought-after concept and storyboard artist, notably contributing to the *Star Wars* sequels *The Force Awakens* and *Rogue One*. He also designed the batsuit for Matt Reeves’ 2022 *The Batman*. His comics style is marked by expressive linework and a keen eye for detail, often collaborating with writers like Peter Milligan. Though his comics output is relatively compact—credited on 14 issues between 1989 and 2014—his influence is felt through his graphic novel and his impact on major film productions. Dillon continues to work in film and design, maintaining a quiet but respected presence in both industries.
