Runaways: The Complete Collection #3
"Dead Means Dead, Chapter One" brings the Runaways into a tense standoff at a Los Angeles farmer’s market, where a clash between SHIELD and the Flag Smasher over registration threatens to spiral out of control. As the Young Avengers intercept the broadcast and decide to intervene, their mission to help quickly turns complicated—especially when the Runaways, wary of all Avengers, assume the worst. Written by Zeb Wells and illustrated by Stefano Caselli, with colors by Daniele Rudoni and letters by VC's Cory Petit, this issue captures a pivotal moment in the divided superhero landscape, all framed by Humberto Ramos’s dynamic cover art and Carlos Cuevas’s sharp inks.
