This sepia-toned cover by Jo Chen presents the Runaways cast in a striking period portrait, dressed in Victorian-era finery and posed like a formal 19th-century photograph — right down to the ornate chairs and muted tones. Six young characters are arranged across the composition, with a large, toothy dinosaur looming unmistakably in the background, a wonderfully incongruous presence among all that lace and tailoring. Writer Joss Whedon and artist Michael Ryan continue "Dead-End Kids" with this third chapter, and the cover alone promises something fascinatingly out of time.
