Rom and Starshine are drawn to the mining town of Beaver Falls in Canada. Alpha Flight also arrives and helps the Spaceknights battle Wraithcreatures that crawl from Beaver Lake which the Dire Wraiths have created from salmon. Once the monsters are destroyed, the Wraiths use the polluted waters of the lake to form a tidal wave that bursts the nearby dam.
