“Deathrise!”

Written by Bill Mantlo and illustrated by Sal Buscema with inks by Akin and Garvey, colors by Ben Sean, and letters by Jim Novak, this 1983 Marvel classic features a cover by Gene Day.

Rom and Shang-Chi meet at the British Museum in London to stop a coven of Dire Wraiths from resurrecting the mummy of a young Egyptian witch-princess. Our heroes are forced to battle Kaaris'a who turns out to be an ancient Dire Wraith. Back in Clairton, Steve finally tracks down Brandy but walks in just as Doctor Dredd is merging his lady love with the Spaceknight Starshine.
