This third volume of Punisher War Journal collects issues #12-17 of the 2008 series, pitting Frank Castle against a rogues' gallery of Spider-Man villains including the Vulture, Rhino, and Kraven the Hunter. In "Hunter/Hunted Part 2," the Punisher closes in on Kraven aboard a massive, sinking vessel where the hunter has assembled a deadly zoo of animal-themed villains—each trapped in cages rigged with explosive collars. Trapped and wounded, the Punisher awakens to find himself chained, the ship flooding, and the beasts now free to roam.
In "Hunter/Hunted Part 3," the Punisher battles through a sinking vessel teeming with animal-themed villains, pushed to his limits as he closes in on Kraven Jr. for a final reckoning—while Bridge enlists Silver Sable to aid in the escalating conflict.
