# Punch Comics #1 This anthology issue contains multiple stories. One story features a carnival setting where Harley the clown and acrobats perform a trapeze act for Mr. Bell's carnival; a mysterious figure later appears at the carnival owners' home with sinister intentions. Another story involves the Trans-Oceana Clipper Corporation, where a plot involving rats is exposed and the Department of Justice becomes involved in an aerial pursuit of a clipper plane. A third story concerns Governor Warren and the villain Grillo, who seeks to enslave the governor's people; the magician's charmed spear becomes central to the conflict, and a character named Lois ultimately rescues the governor from danger.
