An anthology issue featuring multiple stories. One story depicts a man who discovers a baby Hyena in the jungle, kills the mother serpent that threatened it, and later adopts the orphan as a pet that grows to maturity and becomes his faithful companion. "The Veiled Avenger" follows Jake Jarrell, a district attorney by day who leads a double life as a masked vigilante by night, as he battles criminals and conspiracies with the aid of his sidekick and a black cat, thwarting a plot involving the installation of pin machines. In another adventure, a masked female hero named Clara rescues her companion Lee from kidnappers and fights against a villain's schemes involving a tent.
