After Cazazon vanishes at Clipper Port, Cardell follows him to the South American consul's residence, where he discovers a false alarm has been raised. In a climactic aerial combat sequence, Cardell battles Cazazon over the ocean, ultimately defeating him with explosives from his parachute. The issue concludes with police apprehending multiple criminals involved in the theft plot, including a thug named Keenan who had been hiding at a cottage.
In "null," Punch and Cutey find themselves playing the part of helpless strangers in need—desperate for kindness, yet utterly ungrateful when it arrives. Their sudden, shocking behavior leaves even the most generous souls reeling, turning compassion into confusion in a story that’s equal parts funny and unnerving.
