Betty gently points out that most of their friends aren’t actually poor, but Veronica insists that anyone without wealth is, to her, just that: unrich. When Betty drops a surprising observation about how the "unrich" wouldn’t use a twenty as a bookmark, Veronica is genuinely stumped—and asks for help learning how to be truly unrich. Written by Frank Doyle and illustrated by Dan DeCarlo, with inks by Rudy Lapick, colors by Barry Grossman, and letters by Bill Yoshida, this 1981 issue features a cover by Stan Goldberg.

Veronica's father wants her to mingle with the "unrich" (a word she uses because she can't bear to say "poor"). Betty reminds her that most of her friends are actually middle-class, but Veronica replies that "to me, anybody who isn't rich is poor." But when Betty informs her that the "unrich" wouldn't do things like use a twenty dollar bill as a bookmark, Veronica asks for advice on how to be truly "unrich."
