Illyana brings Karma and Pixie (but not Face) back to X-Men to gather a raiding party to block General Ulysses' scheme, but it has already been put into action and Limbo's elder gods are free. However, before leaving, Illyana stabbed Karma with the Soulsword in order to execute the real plan she came back in time to put into motion.
