Master of Kung Fu #72
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe cover of this January 1979 issue says it all: Shang-Chi is caught squarely in the crackling, purple-hazed onslaught of the armored villain Shockwave, debris exploding outward as the two collide with tremendous force. Mike Zeck's cover pencils and inks deliver a wonderfully kinetic image — Shang-Chi's shirtless, bare-footed agility set against Shockwave's hulking yellow-and-red armor creates an instantly compelling contrast. With Doug Moench's script and Mike Zeck on interior art, "Traitors to the Crown" looks to be a sharp, action-driven chapter in one of Marvel's most underappreciated series of the era.
