Spider-Man and the Sub-Mariner collide in churning harbor waters on this October 1973 cover, with a dark-clad, bare-footed figure — one of the Men-Fish — grappling the wall-crawler in a fierce underwater struggle while Namor stands ready in his corner medallion, trident raised. Gil Kane's pencils and Frank Giacoia's inks give the scene a kinetic, wave-splashed energy that perfectly sells the promise of "Mayhem Is... the Men-Fish!" Len Wein scripts this aquatic adventure, making it a fine example of Marvel Team-Up delivering two super-stars for the price of one.
