In "Er stirbt als Held!", Spider-Man faces off against Kingpin in a desperate showdown beneath the Daily Bugle, where the criminal mastermind traps both Spider-Man and J. Jonah Jameson. As the water rises, Foswell makes a final stand against Kingpin, sacrificing himself to save Jameson, while Flash Thompson—back from military leave—arrives just in time to witness the chaos unfold.
