Peter hat die 24-Stunden-Grippe, als Doc Ock Betty Brant in der Hoffnung gefangen nimmt, Spider-Man in den Kampf zu locken. Ock besiegt den angeschlagenen Spider-Man und enttarnt ihn, aber alle denken, dass Peter nur mutig sein will und sich als Spider-Man ausgibt. Nachdem er sich erholt hat, kämpft sich Spider-Man durch die wilden Tiere, die Ock aus dem Zoo befreit hat, um es selbst mit dem Sechsarmigen aufzunehmen.
