The Thing is unwittingly and unwillingly brought to an alternate dimension by Dr. Strange who has been captured by Xandu. The Thing battles demons to free Strange while Xandu makes off with the Eye of Agamotto. Returning to their home dimension and Strange's sanctum, they find that Xandu has controlled the mind of the Hulk.
