Part three of "Blackwater Falls" arrives in this June 2007 Vertigo Western, written by Brian Azzarello with art by Werther Dell'Edera. Marcelo Frusin's cover sets a brooding, blood-red tone — three shadowy figures loom against a twilight sky, their faces rendered as skull-like masks, one gripping a rifle while a snarling dog crouches in the foreground. It's a striking, atmospheric image that captures everything unsettling and morally murky about this mature-readers series.
