Little Eva uses an invisible ink pen to write on paper, which initially appears blank. When her mother discovers the pen doesn't work properly, Eva attempts to fix it, causing ink to spray everywhere and make a mess in the kitchen. Later at the beach, Eva's dog Rover causes chaos during a family outing when he jumps on a lifeguard and refuses to behave, resulting in the children being thrown off the beach. The issue concludes with the family enjoying lunch together despite the day's troubles.
