Little Eva #21

Little Eva and her friends engage in a tire race competition, with each child pitting their tire against the others in a contest to determine whose tire is best. When one child's tire proves too large for the competition, the children decide to abandon the race and play ball instead, but Little Eva loses her ball when she finds a tire to use as a ball. In a separate story titled "Flying High," Little Eva buys balloons from a vendor and holds them while a friend fixes his shoe, but the balloons become tied in a knot and eventually lift Little Joe into the air, prompting Eva to call for him to come back.
