Little Dot #54

Little Dot has outdone herself this time — the cover of issue #54 shows our polka-dot-loving heroine standing proudly beside a towering snowwoman she's dressed up in a red-and-brown spotted skirt and a matching dotted hat, looking thoroughly unimpressed with her creator's smug satisfaction. In the background, two kids admire their own smaller snowman, broom in hand, making for a wonderfully busy winter scene straight from 1960 Harvey charm. A "Top Toy Special" badge on the cover hints at extra fun inside, and with a story titled "Uncle Branes' Magic Dot," there's clearly plenty of Dot's signature spotted whimsy waiting within.
