Little Dot #51
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeHarvey Comics' beloved polka-dot princess takes center stage on this charming 1959 cover, where Little Dot is happily slicing into an enormous wedge of Swiss cheese — its holes, naturally, echoing her signature dot obsession. A second piece of cheese and what appears to be a small mouse nearby complete the delightfully cheesy tableau, with golden wisps of aroma curling through the air. It's a warm, whimsical snapshot of the dot-loving girl who made Harvey Comics a staple of childhood reading that December.

Richie's cousin Midas likes nothing but business, which worries Midas's father. Richie takes Midas to play baseball with his friends, and although Midas's first attempts at hitting, pitching and catching are superb, he thinks the game is silly. Richie then takes him to a professional ball game, but Midas focuses on how profitable the concessions must be. Leaving Midas with the team manager, Richie returns to find Midas cheering the team and extremely engaged. At home, everyone thinks the still enthused Midas has changed, but he tells them he is only interested because he bought the team.
