Li'l Genius #41

This November 1962 Charlton charmer features Jon D'Agostino's cover layout showcasing the red-haired Li'l Genius in a series of nautical misadventures — from facing down an angry ship's captain ("This is mutiny!!") to shouting "Land-Ho!" from the rigging and puzzling over enemy U-boat battle stations from a small rowboat. Four panel-style vignettes tease the "Ship Wrecker" story within, and the whole thing has the kind of breezy, good-natured humor that made Charlton's humor titles such an easy sell at 12 cents.
