A U.S. Marine encounters a South Korean native and a Chinese prisoner during a Sunday walk, and volunteers to help get the refugee relief people to safety. When the Marines discover that Japanese forces have set up roadblocks and cut off supply lines in the area, a supply truck attempting to break through is ambushed and destroyed by enemy gunfire. The skipper receives orders to take his men through the Japanese lines to reconnect with the regimental command post and fight their way back.
