# Lash LaRue Western #9 This issue contains two stories. In the main Lash LaRue story, "The General's Last Stand," outlaws who have robbed a man and taken over his ranch encounter their conscience when the victim returns; one of the gang members decides to return the stolen money and confess, leading to conflict with the others. The second story features a humorous tale in which a boy's imagination creates a game around a statue of the "Golden General," and when children search for it as part of a game, the statue mysteriously disappears, ultimately reappearing at the Mayor's residence after a tornado strikes the town.
