After the sheriff warns Hart to leave town with the weapons, Hart flees to the creek to wait for Tom, but discovers his brother has been captured by the Indians. Lash LaRue intervenes to rescue Tom from Black Diamond and the raiders, ultimately helping the brothers escape and leading them to safety at the post office, where they resolve to stop being rascals.
