In "The Monster of the Desert," Dick West faces a deadly betrayal when his uncle Jed Perdue abandons him to freeze in the mountains—only to be rescued by the mysterious Range Rider. As the two track down Perdue’s plot, they uncover a hidden cache of dinosaur bones being assembled by the eccentric Professor Hornbone on Dick’s own land. With the stakes rising in a remote building filled with ancient skeletons, Range Rider and Dick prepare to confront Perdue and his henchmen in a showdown that could decide more than just survival.
