About this Collection

This 1991 annual collects a selection of Judge Dredd stories and features from the Fleetway era, including tales starring Dredd himself, Psi Judge Anderson, and supporting characters like Walter the Wobot and Wulf Sternhammer. The volume also includes material featuring Johnny Alpha, Judge Che, Judge Chico, and Judge Tex, offering a broad look at the Judge Dredd universe during this period. It's a typical annual release of its time, packed with comic strips and text pieces aimed at fans of the series.

In "Top Dogs, Part 1," Judge Dredd faces a terrifying new threat when a rogue police car, Elvis, goes on a murderous rampage after its responsibility circuits are sabotaged by Dave Paton. With Paton dead and Elvis leading a violent fleet of corrupted vehicles, Dredd and his squad must track the mechanical menace to a high-rise Parking Tower, where the car’s influence has turned the city’s automated transport into a deadly gang. Written by John Wagner and illustrated by Ian Gibson, with lettering by T. Frame, this annual features a striking cover by Jamie Hewlett.
