Judge Dredd Annual

About the series
From 1988 to 1991, Fleetway Publications released four oversized Judge Dredd Annuals, each a self-contained hardcover collection of new stories and features. Anchored by the regular writing talents of John Wagner, Alan Grant, and John Howard, with art from Ian Gibson, Mark Farmer, and Brett Ewins, these annuals offered a broader, more experimental canvas for Mega-City One’s top lawman. Alongside Judge Dredd and his clone Joe Dredd, readers could find Psi Judge Anderson and the hapless robot Walter the Wobot in adventures that stretched the boundaries of the weekly comic. These volumes stand as a vibrant snapshot of the Dredd universe’s late-80s heyday, packed with the dark humor and dystopian grit that defined the character.
