Green Lantern faces a genuinely dangerous opponent in this March 1985 issue, as the cover by Dave Gibbons throws him into a brutal mid-air grapple with Eclipso — the two combatants locked together while a crimson beam fires down toward a city below and a massive alien spacecraft looms overhead. The bold "…And One Must Die!!" starburst drives home the desperate stakes of the confrontation. Written by Len Wein and Paul Kupperberg with art by Gibbons both inside and out, this one has all the ingredients of a satisfying superhero clash.
