After a confrontational reunion, Oliver and Roy joins forces with Dinah, Bird, and the rest of the pipeline protestors against the violent attacks of the sheriff and the Wild Dogs. Because Queen Industries is funding the pipeline, Oliver suspects that Broderick is behind the attacks against the Native American protestors. In flashback, we see Oliver and Roy team up to battle Count Vertigo, but ultimately Roy feels abandoned and ignored by Ollie and turns to drinking and drugs, which results in Ollie throwing Roy out, ending their partnership.
