Golden-Age Greats Spotlight #9
In "The Missing Ambassador," a 2012 reprint spotlighting Golden-Age storytelling, a jungle-raised hero known as Cat-Man steps into a modern mystery when a radio drama he’s listening to takes a dangerous turn—its star, Stella Richards, is kidnapped live on air. With the help of a tigress who once saved his life, Cat-Man follows the trail from jungle-born instinct to urban crime, confronting gangsters in a tale drawn with crisp, nostalgic flair by Irwin Hasen. The cover by L. B. Cole captures the adventure’s pulse, a 29.95 USD tribute to a forgotten era of pulp heroics.
