On their way back to the lost village, Judy and Pistol rescue a trained elephant, N'komi, from a pair of lions. Although N'komi's handler dies, he entrusts his elephant to them. Judy and Pistol try to stop Slade's men from stealing the liquid of life, but the villagers still lump them in with the other white men. N'komi saves Judy and Pistol.
