Triax (a huge turtle-like monster with orbs on stalks for eyes) engages Godzilla and Red Ronin. The other two Mega Monsters, Krollar (A huge orange leech-like monster) and Rhiahn (a huge yellow cyclopean clam headed monster with giant helicopter blades for a body), enter the battle and a three on two fight outside Salt Lake City ensues. A damaged Megan craft is able to blast the Mega Monsters with an energy ray empowering them and making them grow larger just as Red Ronin gets decapitated by Rhiahn, leaving Godzilla to face the Mega Monsters alone.
