G.I. Joe, a Real American Hero #104
In "Hero of the People!", Snake-Eyes takes a dangerous personal mission to rescue C.I.A. agent George Strawhacker from Borovia, unaware he's walking into a trap set by The Jugglers—his past tied to the man's late twin sister making the mission all the more personal. Meanwhile, Scarlett stirs from her coma in Sierra Gordo, frantically asking Hawk about Snake-Eyes' whereabouts, as the G.I. Joes, Oktober Guard, and Tucaro Indians struggle to stay one step ahead of Cobra. Written by Larry Hama and illustrated by Mark Bright, with inks by Randy Emberlin, colors by Bob Sharen, and letters by Rick Parker, this issue features a cover by Lee Weeks.

Storm Shadow has gotten a mission for Snake-Eyes from The Jugglers to rescue George Strawhacker, a C.I.A. agent being held captive in Borovia (whom Snake-Eyes knows because he was engaged to his twin sister before she died in the car accident), not knowing it's a trap. Scarlett has just awoken from her coma asking Hawk where's Snake-Eyes, while the Joes/ Oktober Guard/ Tucaro Indians group continue to elude Cobra as best as they can in Sierra Gordo.
