Four Color #403
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 1952 Dell issue puts Li'l Bad Wolf front and center in a wonderfully chaotic domestic scene, with the Big Bad Wolf dramatically slicing into a pig-shaped cake — butter at the ready — while a framed portrait of three cheerful little pigs hangs pointedly on the wall behind them. Gil Turner's lively linework gives both wolves tremendous personality, from Li'l Bad Wolf's wide-eyed apprehension to his father's gleefully scheming expression. A charming and funny ten-cent package that captures exactly why this Disney series had such enduring appeal in the early fifties.
