Dell's Disney comics line was produced through Western Printing & Lithographing Company, with Chase Craig serving as story editor, Tom McKimson as art director, and Alice Nielsen Cobb as managing editor — the same editorial triad that oversaw the companion issue Four Color #331 just two months earlier. The on-sale date of June 5, 1951, is documented in the U.S. Copyright Office's Catalog of Copyright Entries, placing the book firmly in the pre-release promotional window for the Disney animated film. Individual writer and artist credits for the issue have not been definitively published in publicly available records; the Grand Comics Database attributes its credits to Disney comics historian Alberto Becattini's scholarly Dell index, compiled in Italy in 1992 and 1994.
