“Noise Nullifier”

In "Noise Nullifier," Donald Duck finds himself as a salesman on the Kickmiquick River in Northwest Canada, only to discover he's been sent to peddle steam calliopes—something no one in the remote region has ever seen. When he swaps his wares for cosmetics, his attempt to make a sale sparks unexpected chaos with a tribe of Indigenous people who've never encountered white men before. Written and illustrated by Carl Barks, this 1950 Four Color comic features Barks' signature blend of slapstick and cultural curiosity, with his own pencils and inks defining both the interior art and the cover.
