A crackling vortex of Speed Force energy dominates the cover of this April 2000 issue, as a dark-suited speedster urgently pulls a surprised blonde woman along with him — their speech bubbles sparking a delightfully charged exchange: "It's time for me to return!" met with "If you love me, you'll come with me!" and her wide-eyed reply, "That's a proposal??" The header promises a journey "To Hypertime and Beyond!", setting an adventurous and romantically charged tone for the story inside, "Whirlwind Ceremony." Steve Lightle's cover pencils and inks crackle with kinetic energy, and with Waid, Augustyn, Pelletier, and Marzán Jr. on the creative team, this is a compelling snapshot of the Flash's world at the turn of the millennium.
