Fantastic Four #573
Reed Richards and the Thing appear to be enjoying a casual outing at what looks like a bustling diner or food court, surrounded by a wonderfully strange crowd of alien and unusual beings — a perfect snapshot of the "Nu-World" promised by the story title. The cover by Alan Davis and Mark Farmer captures a rare, almost playful moment for Marvel's First Family, with Sue and the kids also present amid the otherworldly atmosphere. Jonathan Hickman's 2010 run on the title was quietly building something special, and this slice-of-life alien setting makes for a genuinely intriguing chapter in that journey.
