The Fantastic Four convince President Nixon to give them a chance to avert a full-scale war between the United States and Atlantis. They confront Namor and realize that they have all been manipulated by the evil mutant Magneto. Meanwhile, Magneto has kidnapped Invisible Girl and Namor's beloved Lady Dorma in order to force Namor and the FF into obeying him. Magneto usurps the leadership of the Atlantean army and invades New York!
