In "Crawling from the Wreckage," Cliff struggles to reclaim his sense of self within the confines of a mental hospital, where Will Magnus makes a haunting visit. There, he encounters Kay Challis, a fellow patient whose presence unsettles the fragile order of the ward. Meanwhile, Niles quietly plots a new future for the Doom Patrol with Joshua, while Larry—separated and vulnerable—draws closer to the Negative Spirit, now fused with his nurse, Eleanor Poole.

In "Cautionary Tales," Niles Caulder pays a tense visit to Larry, only to find him transformed into Rebis—a fractured amalgam of Larry, Eleanor Poole, and the Negative Spirit. As the Scissormen launch their assault, their advance brings chaos to the hospital where Cliff and Jane are trapped, setting the stage for a collision of trauma, identity, and unseen forces.

In "Worlds in Collision," Cliff and Jane arrive at Doom Patrol headquarters in Kansas City only to discover it overrun by Orqwith and the Scissormen. With the rest of the team already evacuated to Rhode Island, the two must flee across the country, only to find the threat has followed them—no sanctuary is truly safe.
