Doom Patrol #24
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA theatrical menace commands center stage on Richard Case and Scott Hanna's striking cover: a white-masked figure in an elaborate red robe and ornate golden crown spreads his arms wide, while two heroes — pinned to yellow panels like specimens on a display board — are held helpless on either side, with a small armored figure visible behind him. Grant Morrison's 1989 run on Doom Patrol was already pushing superhero comics into genuinely strange territory, and "The House That Jack Built" looks to be no exception. The puppet-master imagery here is quietly unsettling in the best possible way.
