John Sunlight and his minions defeat Doc's gang in a fight and kidnap Pat Savage and Helena Smith. Doc arrives from Hidalgo and with his men track Sunlight to his yacht. They engage Sunlight's henchmen and almost win but Sunlight jumps in and holds Pat hostage with a gun to her head. After Sunlight makes a deal with Doc that he will let Pat go once they are out of the harbor. Soon after Doc chases after him but is only able to find Helena's floating corpse. Some distance away Castigleone is observing all and vows that he does not intend to lose against both Doc and Sunlight.
