Doc and his crew follow John Sunlight to the underground world of Thule, beneath an island east of Greenland. The Thulians' monarch, Wotenjaz, decrees that Doc must battle Xauz to determine which side prevails, Doc's or Sunlight's. Before the battle concludes, Castigleone and his men enter and start shooting the Thulians. The Thulians fight back and with help from Doc's crew, defeat the gangsters. Doc follows Sunlight outside where Sunlight, realizing his plans are destroyed, jumps off a high cliff to escape Doc. After the battle Wotenjaz orders Doc and his people off the island.
