Detective Comics #760
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDave Johnson's stark, high-contrast cover for Detective Comics #760 (September 2001) sets a sharp noir tone: a dapper figure in a white suit and bold red bow tie levels a gun at the viewer while Batman's shadow looms ominously on the wall behind him, and a wary bystander clutches a coffee cup at the edge of the frame. Greg Rucka, Shawn Martinbrough, and Jesse Delperdang bring "Unknowing Part Three" to the main story, with the added bonus of a "Trail of the Catwoman" backup by Brubaker and Cooke. It's a nicely packed issue that captures exactly why Detective Comics remained one of DC's most stylish titles in 2001.
