☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe penultimate issue of DC Universe: Legacies arrives in 2011 with a cover by Jesús Saiz that captures "The Modern Age of Heroism Reborn!" in full force — Green Lantern soars above the Metropolis skyline near the Daily Planet globe, while the Flash charges forward alongside Zatanna, Black Canary, and a green-cloaked Green Arrow, the whole ensemble radiating the scope and energy of a DC Universe at its most expansive. Writer Len Wein and a robust artistic team including Scott Kolins, Tom Derenick, and Jesús Saiz bring their collective talents to "Truth and Consequences!" plus a "Brave New World" backup, making this a fittingly ambitious chapter in this love letter to DC history.

Paul Lincoln finishes his story, relating how just as the world heard of the murder of the Elongated Man's wife, his own wife Peggy received the terrible news that her cancer was back. Not long after her passing, Jimmy Mahoney also met his fate defending against the attack of the OMACs. With that, Paul retired from the force and though others might not believe his stories, he still has his cherished memento from meeting the Atom all those years ago.
