DC Comics Presents #22
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis June 1980 team-up pits "The Man of Tomorrow" against an alarming problem: his ally Captain Comet is blazing out of control, engulfed in a spectacular fiery comet-trail and crying out a warning to Superman as the two hurtle through space. García-López's cover captures the urgency beautifully — Superman braces against the oncoming inferno while multiple trailing figures streak across the starfield behind Captain Comet, conveying both speed and danger in a single breathless image. Titled "Attack of the Human Comet," this is a solid slice of the Bronze Age team-up format DC Comics Presents did so well, pairing one of comics' most beloved heroes with a character whose cosmic energy has clearly taken on a life of its own.
