Clark und eine junge Dame fliegen mit einm Jet und stürzen auf einer Insel ab. Ein ausserirdischer Kampfroboter wurde mit einem Meteor zur Erde gebracht. Christy erzählt Clark Kent, warum sie panische Angst vor dem Stählernen hat. Als Kind hat er sie aus einem brennenden Haus gerettet, doch ein Balken hat die Beine ihrer Puppe getroffen. Psychologisch war sie damals so eng mit dem Spielzeug verbunden, dass sie seit dem Zeitpunkt nicht mehr laufen konnte.
